Adewunmi, CPA, FCA is an experienced Chartered Accountant with proven international experience in Financial Reporting, Risk & Tax management, Audit & Assurance services, Internal Control & Compliance, and corporate reporting services both in public and private sectors. He is a business leader and a financial expert. A detailed and value oriented professional who always want to impart knowledge with an inexorable quest for learning. He’s currently an International Tax Auditor with the Government of Canada.

A first class B.Sc (Hons) accounting graduate from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and also graduated as the best student in Financial Reporting during his time. He also holds a MBA degree from the University of Lagos.

Adewunmi is a seasoned teacher in audit & assurance, financial reporting, and taxation. He derives pleasure in imparting knowledge to others and has lectured in various professional accounting training centres.

Adewunmi is the current lead of the Black Employee Network, Western Canada Region Branch for a department of the Government of Canada. Membership of the network is about 800 to 900 black employees.

Fondly called “Professor” by friends and families. Besides, he’s very passionate to see that assigned tasks are achieved efficiently and effectively. He has won several leadership and personality laurels from his undergraduate days to present. Always excited and idiosyncrasy noted for his incessant smiles.

In the course of my career pursuits, I have successfully handled several projects/engagements, most which were statutory engagements completion for companies and clients, financial modelling, feasibility plan for successful mega business prospects, positively turned around ailing finance departments of organizations, helped in business re-engineering and re-structuring, projects appraisals, inventory management, financial & tax advisories, government projects financial designs and supervisions, among others.
