Bunmi Makinde is an Associate Director, leading the Executive Risk Reporting team within the Technology and Operations Risk Group of BMO Financial Group. His a highly experienced professional with specialization in Technology Governance, Risk and Compliance (Tech GRC) with focus on financial services industry.

Prior to joining BMO, Bunmi developed his professional experience with leading global assurance and advisory firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY) and BDO. He also led the IT Audit function of a new generation bank in Nigeria

Bunmi is Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA). He also Certified in Organizational Leadership and Management Essentials from Harvard Business School (HBS) Online.

Bunmi currently serves on the board of Toronto Chapter of the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and Ontario Chapter of the institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN Canada). He also served on the boards of ICAN Canada District Society, Vancouver Chapter of ISACA, Stimulight ToastMaster Club and Interact Club.  He is a Platinum member of the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
