Seyi is a Partner in the Technology Risk Services team in the Calgary office. She has over 20 years of experience spanning across four continents in both public and private sectors.  She has deep expertise in evaluating information technology processes and controls of organizations in diverse industries.  She has experience in IT risk management, IT audit, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (SOX and CEO/CFO certification standards), third-party risk assurance, and business process improvement.  With an in-depth understanding of risk management, governance, security, and control frameworks, she has served in both audit and advisory roles assisting clients to leverage technology, implement security and controls, and improve IT governance.

Seyi has led hundreds of control assurance engagements which include performing technical audits of critical company applications and operational controls audits for clients. These reviews included assessing risk exposure, evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, and developing solutions to address deficiencies.

She holds an Advanced SOC for Service Organizations certificate – an AICPA certification that demonstrates proficiency in the examination of SOC controls. She is also proficient in the use of computer-assisted audit techniques to perform data analysis. She has also worked on numerous post-implementation review engagements that involved the migration of large data.

Prior to joining MNP, Seyi worked with Deloitte as an Information Technology Audit Manager leading and executing projects, including business process and IT risk assessments, systems conversion reviews, and IT controls assessments and audits.
